CN Tower

I was brought on by Plan of Record to Design 2D and 3D, interactive, augmented reality social media filters for Toronto’s CN Tower tourism activation. Located at the base of the landmark, tourists are encouraged to interact with the motion-based filters through their photographs and films. The filters are to promote seasonal events like the Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day.

The Challenge
Enhance the draw for visitors of the Tower during the Tower's shoulder seasons when tourist visits are typically lower.
The Solution
Leading up to the 50th anniversary of the CN Tower, we proposed the rollout of an AR experience for those visiting the grounds of the Tower to bring to life the 'elevate, celebrate' call-to-action only the Tower can offer. The purpose of the experience is to enhance visitor participation as soon as they arrive on the grounds of the Tower. We want to celebrate them, the 'wow' factor they are at the Tower for, and the Tower itself.
